Battle between Elodie of EXODUS and Neiia of ALPHA

Neiia said to the stupid mutt. She kept on clasping to her ankle, until Elodie decided to flop over. Perfect! Neiia let go and darted over to Elodie, who's belly was showing and vulnerable. She raked her claws over the weak skin and took a bite into it.

"That makes it worse Dear."

Elodie's vision was fogging again, but she could feel Neiia's sharp talons on her skin, and the cold wind on her exposed flesh. She snapped at the fae's snout, attempting to get a grip on her muzzle. When she could finally grip on to the fae's snout, she forced her down again, rolling ontop of the femme.

Grappling was one of Lady's strong suits, and she was quick to lock on to the femme's throat, applying enough pressure to reduce her intake of air, but not enough to crush her wind pipe completely. Gravity argued with her, and blood poored from the gashes on her stomach. Her head was spinning as she tried to shake the spots that blurred her vision.

Neiia felt the jaws on her neck, but she simply kicked up with her paws. They thrashed at Elodie's gash - making the bleeding even worse. She rose her front paws so they pushed against Ms. Scaryface's neck, possibly blocking her breathing a little, but still making scars on the infected's belly with her back paws.

Elodie side stepped to prevent further damage to her inderside. she adjusted her hold on Neiia's neck so the femme couldn't escape from under her. She released her hold on her neck so that she could get a better view of her face. She raised a tree trunk of a leg and struck her on the side of the head in attempt to provoke dizziness. She was beyond feeling any pain from her shoulder and belly, but the feel of thick blood streaming over her white pelt and the smell of her own blood mixing in the air; it didn't settle her stomach. Now her stomach was turning summer salts ( spail) and she was about ready to vomit. She tried not to show it though. "Give up?" She spat, a mix of blood and saliva trailing from her open jaws.

Ekka staggered backwards, towards the barn, as the other wolf stepped in to help. Maybe she could get inside and check out her wounds quickly, before anything bad happened. She leaned on the door on her good side, putting all her weight into it, and barely managed to get it open enough for her to slip through. Her flank screamed in agony as the wood of the doorframe grazed it.
She stood in the center of the barn and mentally evaluated herself. Her back had pretty much stopped bleeding. It was a fairly small wound, compared to her flank. Her flank was worse: the gash was long, her skin torn painfully. It would likely scar. She grimaced.
Ekka padded to a dusty corner of the barn, and gathered cobwebs, which she stuck awkwardly onto her flank. She was no healer, but she knew the cobwebs would help stop the bleeding, which would be vastly helpful. She couldn't afford to lose any more blood right now.
Ekka walked over to the door and pushed it open again, this time making sure the opening was wide enough for her to get through safely. She started walking towards the two battling creatures slowly. She wasn't sure about this, but she couldn't just abandon the cross. The cross wouldn't get out alive if she didn't help. She sped up a bit, going as fast as she dared.
The Infected had the cross pinned now, jaws on the smaller creature's neck. The cross was nearly unfazed, and simply clawed at the Infected with all four paws. The Infected shifted, and then released its hold on the cross's neck. It struck the cross on the head with a paw. "Give up?" the Infected spat.
Ekka was behind the Infected now. "Now, that's hardly fair," she said, lashing out quickly at the Infected's leg, in an attempt to knock it off balance.

"Pitiful." Elodie spat, craning her neck to look at the meek cross biting and tugging at her ankle. She jerked her leg backward, kicking upwards and throwing the femme into the dust. With her out of the way, she could focus on Neiia. "Now where were we?" She snarled, a devilish smile crossing her maw.

Neiia breathed to the raggedy infected. Hopefully the new wolf would do something to get her out of this position so they could both attack together. As Ms. Scaryface took her jaws off Neiia's neck to look at the wolf, the cross nova darted under the infected's stomach. Clasping onto her back ankle with both front paws on it as well, she bit down, twisting her head. Hopefully that'd break or sprain Ms. Scaryface's ankle. Looking over at the new wolf hopefully, her eyes said 'go for the other ankle!'.

Elodie howled in pain as Neiia latched her jaws around her ankle. Swearing under er breath, she attempted to pry the femme from under her, still keeping a claw eye on the other cross. No funny business.

But Neiia continued, twisting her head more. She clasped down as hard as her jaws could take it, warm blood running down her lips. Ms. Scaryface's attempts to pry her off hurt, but the cross would come out with a few injuries and Ms. Scaryface would come out with a broken or sprained ankle, unable to walk properly. Then Neiia... maybe a new land for her paw. Continuing to kind of hold on with both front paws and some claws, she continued to twist Ms. Scaryface's ankle.

Ekka got to her paws quickly after being tossed aside by the Infected. She watched as the other cross nova darted under the Infected's stomach and grabbed onto its ankle. She saw the cross's eyes dart to hers, and understood the look immediately. Ekka sprinted towards them and, sliding on the ground, rammed into the Infected's leg with jaws open and clamped down.

Elodie lashed out at both the wolves, tugging them free from her legs by the scruff and tossing them aside as if they were rag dolls. (Muahaha) she cradled her left leg that had been mauled by Neiia. The bone may have been broken. "You'll pay for this!" She growled, backing up defensively. She cringed as she tried to put weight on her back paw but the pain was dizzying. With a huff of arrogance, she started at a three legged lope back from where she had come. Even as she fled, she began plotting her vengeance but that was to be saved for another day.

"Good battle"
Neiia said to Elodie quietly, then faced the new wolf and nodded at her. The fight was over. They'd won. Alpha had it's land.... a healthy one.
"Thank you - you've earned a high honour in Alpha, I'm Neiia, doyen of Alpha"
She dipped her head.

Ekka scrambled to her paws and watched as the Infected retreated. They'd won. They'd actually won. Ekka shuddered in relief, and turned to the other cross. "Thank you - you've earned a high honour in Alpha, I'm Neiia, doyen of Alpha."
Ekka dipped her head politely. "Ekka, lone hunter. I've heard of your pack."

"I'm glad so many wolves have heard of it"
Aspen grinned, taking a step forward and examining Ekka's wound. Biting her lip gently, she looked back up.
"Come with me - I have some healing herbs back at Alpha"
The words escaped her lips and with a few strides, she headed off to Alpha.
