Corrupt a Wish

Simply corrupt a wish.
Ex;

P1; I wish for a puppy.
P2; Your wish is granted... but the puppy has rabies. I wish for a sandwiche.
P3; Wish granted... the sandwich is rotten though.

etc,

I wish for a goldfish <3.

Goldfish only have a memory span of 3 seconds. Your goldfish will never remember that you are its friend.

I wish for a turtle OwO

Unfortunately, your turtle has a rare condition where it can't swim. You don't listen when you buy it from the guy on the street and plop it in the water.

I wish for a house.

Your house is made out of paper and falls apart when it rains.

I wish for a new computer.

Your 'new' computer has nothing inside it - it's a plain computer with no harddrives or anything inside.

Granted. But the door to the McDonalds is a portal to a world where food eats you. And it's a one-way portal.

I wish for more chocolate.

Granted! But unfortunately you eat all that chocolate... and it's a lot. Now you have to be lifted in a harness by helicopter to places <3.
But there's more to love, right?

I wish for a dog trainer to train my puppy.

Granted, but you can't have any snacks....welcome to hell....

I wish I could make good decisions...

Well, those good decisions aren't exactly perfect. Examples are;
"Taxi driver over a janitor" A lot of people died that week.

I want another dog! I mean, one that can bark and move and that's trained.

Granted. That happens to include serial killers, so now we have a bunch of murderers running around freely.

I wish my computer wasn't so laggy.

Granted~ But now it goes super fast. You can't even see what happens, you accidentally click on ads and download links - virus galore! You keep dying in your games, getting eaten by dragons and when hit by a giant's club, thrown a million miles into the air in Skyrim (XD), etc.

They do shut up.
But unfortunately I believe crickets call for mates that way, so all your crickets die soon and no new babies are bred. Whenever you get more, they shut up.
